Dustin Bucalo
President
Dustin Bucalo is a graduate of Butler University and John Marshall Law School in Chicago where he graduated magna cum laude and later passed the Illinois bar exam. After a stint in the legal field he returned to the construction business that he had grown a passion for while watching his father build and remodel homes throughout his childhood. In 2011, Dustin took a project management position within the family company and spent the next 8 years developing his talent to provide customers with an unsurpassed experience with their renovation projects. In 2021, Dustin took over Designers & Builders Inc. where he continues to strive to construct high quality homes & renovations while providing better service and value to his customers.
Dennis Bucalo
Project consultant
Dennis Bucalo is a graduate of the University of Illinois with a Bachelor degree in Fine and Applied Arts, specializing in Architecture. After spending nearly three years working for the prestigious architectural firm of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, Dennis moved to Houston, Texas to become a project manager running multi million dollar commercial construction projects. Dennis returned to the Chicagoland area in 1986 to help coordinate the construction of the McDonald's Corporate office building in Oak Brook, IL. In 1987 he founded Designers & Builders Development, Inc. with a focus on residential construction projects. Over the last 31 years Dennis has put together quite a resume, building and remodeling many beautiful homes. In 2021, he transitioned to a consulting role where he could continue to provide his expertise and experience to customers with Designers & Builders Inc.
